Registration

We have kept a number of places available to accommodate late registrations.

This is on a first come first serve basis, unless we have been in contact with you separately.

Event Theme

This years’ conference theme is “Making the invisible, visible: addressing unequal access to clinical research”, which highlights healthcare disparities and illuminates the invisible barriers that hinder diverse participation in clinical research. We will confront the challenges in reaching underrepresented communities and explore innovative strategies for inclusivity.

We have a strong line up of national and international speakers who will lead the discussions around our contributions to and development of experimental medicine research, including:

  • Professor Ivan Browne (pictured below), Professor of Public Health, and Social Determinants of Health, De Montfort University Leicester
  • Professor Kamlesh Khunti, Professor of Primary Care Diabetes and Vascular Medicine and Directs the University of Leicester’s Real-World Evidence Unit and Centre for Ethnic Health Research
  • Dr Alice Mortlock, Deputy Director, Research Capacity & Growth, Department of Health, and Social Care
  • Professor Ruth Endacott (pictured below), NIHR Director of Nursing and Midwifery
  • Dr Roxanne Crosby-Nwaobi, Lead Nurse for Research at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

This year at the conference, we will be utilising the EventsCase app.

There will not be a conference brochure this year, all information can be accessed via the event app.

We will, however, provide a PDF programme for anyone cannot access the app. A link will be added here a week before the event.

There is no hotel platform for booking this year, so attendees can choose which hotel suits them best, however, we have been able to attain some hotel discounts.

Are you applying solo or as part of a group? 

Please have the details of all attendees you are booking for at hand.

How will your organisation be paying?

You can checkout securly by card using the Conference booking system. If you would prefer to book using BACs/Invoice then please follow the instructions in the registration guidelines document.

Attending day 2 of the Conference?

Please be prepared to book which summer school sessions you would like to attend. These can be changed at a later date using the Conference’s app on Eventscase, which can be downloaded on Android or Apple.
