Kate is the Recruitment & Engagement Manager at NIHR Liverpool CRF based at University Hospitals at Liverpool Group.

After working as a Pharmacy Technician for 11 years across secondary and primary care, Kate moved into to research as a Clinical Trials Officer for the NIHR Primary Care Research Network (North West). Her research carer has crossed primary, secondary and community care sectors, and for the majority of her research journey she has been involved in patient and public involvement and engagement. Kate is currently under taking a PhD on improving inclusivity in early phase clinical trials.

Previously a member of the UKCRF Network Patient and Public Involvement Group, Kate is now part of the UKCRF Network Involvement and Inclusion Work Package Group and has been the Deputy Lead for Involvement since 2023.
