Head of Collaboration for the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI)

Dr Lucy Allen is Head of Collaboration for the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI). Through the NIHR, the Department of Health invests £0.5 billion per year in clinical research infrastructure. Lucy’s role is to maximise the value of this investment by ensuring the infrastructure are working together in a coordinated way to support high quality clinical research delivering benefits for patients and the NIHR. NOCRI works closely the UKCRF Network to highlight the wide range of NIHR infrastructure available to support the delivery of experimental medicine research.

Prior to joining the NOCRI team, Lucy was a Department Manager and senior scientist at GE Healthcare, one of the world leaders in radiopharmaceuticals, developing diagnostic imaging agents across numerous disease areas and imaging modalities. Lucy has worked across all phases of discovery from early stage research through development, driving lead candidates into clinical trials and First-In-Man imaging studies.
